 Shreya Ghoshal in an Indian playback singer is celebrating her birthday today (12th march 2023). She is recognised for her wide vocal range and versatility. She is one of the most prolific and popular singers of India. She has sung songs for films and albums in various languages of India.




She sang more than 2,405 songs in 20+ languages. Her first debut song was Ganraj Rangi Nachato which was an cover version of marathi song sung by late Lata Mangeshkar.




Ghoshal has won four National Awards on the years 2002,2005,2007 and 2008 on the category Best Female Playback Singer. She has also won seven filmfare awards and ten filmfare awards south. She also holds two Tamilnadu State Film Awards, four Kerala State Film Awards and two BFJA (Bengal Film Journalists Association) awards.
