 V. Anamika who is an contemporary artists is celebrating her birthday today(12/03/2023). She was born in Neelankarai, Chennai, Tamilnadu on the year 1976. She is a student of S.Dhanapal, one   of the eminent artists in India. She completed her masters in the year 1999 on fine arts(painting and print making) in Government college of fine arts, Chennai.

She was won Lalit Kala Akademi award for young artists in the year 2001 and 55th national Lalit Kala Akademi award in the year 2014. Besides this she has won The Charles Wallace India Trust Award, Visiting Artist Award, Edinburgh Printmakers studio, and Award for excellence from Yali foundation.
